It's moved the threshold for us when it comes to being struck by the strangeness of some vehicles. But this motorcycle right here even had us doing a collective double-take. The Honda Super Cub is one of the most common motorcycles in the world.
Honda launched the latest version of their beloved Super Cub with a one-off custom by Thai shop K-Speed. K-Speed is back with an even better Super Cub in collaboration with Storm Aeropart, who created all-new plastics to cover the frame and forks. The Super Cub rides on inch carbon fiber solid-disc wheels shod with vintage Firestone rubber and a lowered stance thanks to a stretched swingarm and new shocks. A massive improvement to the Cub's braking capabilities comes via front and rear disc brakes versus the original drums and a new exhaust gives the cc single lunger a bit more bark.

As a styling and market trend in the motorcycle market, retro design seems to be going on a while yet, and one contender for the hipster dollar is the Honda C Super Cub, priced at RM13, This was much the case for the author, whose uncle let him have a go on a Honda C70 back when most of you were running around in shorts. Which does go a long way to explaining the heart stopping price Honda is asking for the Super Cub since the model we get in Malaysia is brought in CBU.
The Super Cub's US advertising campaign, You meet the nicest people on a Hondahad a lasting impact on Honda's image and on American attitudes to motorcycling, and is often used as a marketing case study. The idea for a new cubic-centimetre 3. A small, high-performance motorcycle was central to his plans.
