Support for Windows Vista without any service packs installed ended on April 13, For more information, refer to this Microsoft web page: Support is ending for some versions of Windows. This article describes how to move the taskbar from the default position.
The Dock sits at the bottom of the screen on every Mac by default, and it will stay there unless it has been relocated either with a settings adjustment or a key modifier. The locations are fairly self explanatory, but you may wish to experiment with each of them yourself to get a better idea of how moving the Dock impacts general use. Something important to keep in mind is that the Dock icon sizes will generally be larger when the Dock is shown on the bottom of the screen rather than the left or right sides.
The Deskbar is the little panel that by default is located in the upper right corner of the screen. It's Haiku's version of Windows' taskbar with its Start button. It contains the Deskbar menu from where you can start applications and preferences, a tray with a clock and other tools below that and a list of currently running programs at the bottom.

Action Tray is a dockable, customizable, slide-out, tray view controller for iOS and Android that can be attached to the top, left, bottom or right sides of the screen. Action Tray supports three tray types:. You can place individual Action Trays along any edge of the screen or place several Action Trays together and attach them to an ActionTrayManager to control them as a group and use them like palettes or menus. The ActionTrayManager provides events to respond to user interaction in any of the trays it controls and it automatically ensures that only one tray in the group is open at a time.
